How to Use The Calculator Tabs

This calculator is organized into three distinct tabs to keep the interface clean while offering maximum functionality. Here is what you can do in each section:

The “main” Tab

This is your primary workspace. It contains the standard number pad, basic arithmetic operators, fractions, roots, and common trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan). You can also find your previous answer button (ans) here.

The “abc” Tab

Need to type out variables or specific functions? The “abc” tab provides a full QWERTY keyboard overlay. This is incredibly useful for defining variables or manually typing out complex math commands.

The “func” Tab

This section is a powerhouse for advanced mathematics. Here you will find inverse trigonometry (sin⁻¹), logarithms (ln, log), probability functions (nCr, nPr, factorials), and statistical commands like mean and standard deviation.

RAD vs. DEG Mode

At the top of the toolbar, you can easily toggle between Radians (RAD) and Degrees (DEG). Make sure you select the correct angle mode before calculating trigonometric equations to avoid incorrect results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whenever you hit the Enter (↵) button to finalize a calculation, the result is saved in the calculator’s memory. You can click the “ans” button in your next equation to automatically insert that previous result.

Switch to the “func” tab. For permutations, use the nPr button and enter your values as permutations(n, k). For combinations, use nCr and enter combinations(n, k).

The most common reason for this is having the wrong angle mode selected. By default, advanced math tools use Radians. If your assignment is in degrees, make sure you click the DEG button on the top toolbar before pressing Enter.
